If you have to buy a pre-loaded gift card get a VISA gift card. American Express is utter crap. I’m speaking from personal experience.;

I was charged $104.99 for 1 $50 giftcard, I e-mailed the guy and now he tells me “it was only A $50 gift card.” I will be reporting the scammer to Amazon.com, rip off much?

Normally you’ll have to spend $3.95 over the cover cost to purch. a Visa gc, but $60 to buy a $50 gc? Ridiculous! Save your $$ and buy store cards, AMC theater cards never expire!, cash, check, whatever …anything but cards that charge fees! Plus, if you don’t use it right away they start charging fees for not using it! No thanks! And you can’t get cash at any time, not even for the last $5 on the card!
